The credit card is required as a guarantee for the rental, therefore it is mandatory to present it at the agency when picking up the vehicle.

In the event of an accident involving another vehicle, the customer and the other party must fill out and sign the CAI (accident report form) in every part. The customer must forward it within and no later than 24 hours to the relevant branch that is the one that issued the rental letter kept in the dashboard of the vehicle and received by email. In the event of an accident with things or objects, and without the involvement of another vehicle, the customer must provide a specific statement for the incident, accompanied by photographic documentation.
In the event of an accident and the customer is right, the latter is fully covered by insurance. In the event of an accident and the customer is in the wrong, the latter is fully covered by insurance except for the compensation penalties, ranging from a minimum of 900 Euro to a maximum of 2500 Euro for each damage, depending on the vehicle rented. Compensation penalties can be reduced at the time of collecting the vehicle, by signing for the extra coverage.

In the event of a breakdown during office hours, the customer must immediately contact our relevant branch (that is the one that issued the rental letter kept in the dashboard of the vehicle and received by email), communicating the location and, if possible, the type of fault.
If the fault occurs at night or on public holidays, the customer must contact the 24-hour non-stop assistance service by calling the freephone number indicated on the rental contract. Each number is unique, as it is linked to the license plate of the rented vehicle.
The people in charge at the office or at the assistance number will give all the necessary instructions to solve the problem as soon as possible.

In the event of theft of the vehicle, the customer must first report it to the nearest police station. Then he/she must contact the relevant branch, that is the one that issued the rental letter kept in the dashboard of the vehicle and received by email. Finally, he/she must go to the branch and return the keys with the report in duplicate.
The customer will be charged with a compensation penalty ranging from a minimum of 1560 Euro to a maximum of 2500 Euro. Compensation penalties can be reduced at the time of collecting the vehicle, by signing for the extra coverage.

Morini Rent offers its customers the possibility of stipulating an “extra” coverage at the time of departure which significantly reduces the penalty on theft and the penalty in the event of an accident. The amounts of extra coverage vary by vehicle. The possibility of taking out the “extra” coverage is at the discretion of the rental agency.

Morini Rent will forward the fine along with the rental contract to the issuing body. In the communes where this procedure is not accepted, Morini Rent reserves the right to charge it to the client.

The Rental Office delivers the motor vehicle indicated in the contract clean and in good condition. The vehicle, if not otherwise indicated in the contract, will have a full tank of fuel and will be equipped with all regular tools (warning triangle, spare tyre, etc.), insurance green card and all necessary documentation.

Upon signing the contract, clients shall communicate the return date; clients must notify our Rental agency prior to any variation.

A rental day is considered a 24-hour day with a 60-minutes tolerance.
